Stefan Turcios
Red Dragon (Pre-K) Teacher
Stefan Angelo has many years of experience working with children from 3 to 10 years of age. Before coming to Redeemer, Stefan was a teacher at Golden Poppy Preschool and Making Waves (a tutoring and teaching program designed to address the academic, emotional, social, and developmental needs of children). Stefan acquired an Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences, and over 15 ECE units from College of Marin. With his fluency in Spanish, Stefan introduces the language in his classroom and the afternoon enrichment program.
“I am really excited to have the opportunity to share my knowledge in Spanish with the children. I’ve noticed the children’s enthusiasm in language as I have incorporated Spanish, French and Italian in my curriculum. My philosophy with introducing a new language is to make the experience fun and meaningful for the children. My goal is to capture a moment where we can be immersed in the language by either learning a new song, reading a book, or even cooking while learning new vocabulary in a different language.”
