Tom Holmes, music teacher (also a Redeemer parent)  plays music with our children in both the morning and afternoon programs. Following music studies at College of Marin, Tom studied voice at the Judy Davis vocal school for five years and completed the audio engineering program at San Francisco State. As a performer, Tom is a singer and plays a number of instruments including guitar, drums, percussion and keyboards.  Tom believes music is an essential component of education which can enhance other areas of learning.  At Redeemer, he regularly mixes up the children’s songs to show different tempo and feel, and plays a variety of musical instruments in their native style, including mandolin, ukulele, native American flute, and kalimba (thumb piano).

Andrea Ingraham – our Kindermusik teacher:
While obtaining a degree in vocal performance, Andrea was trained in classical music as well as acting and dance.  Andrea is a licensed Kindermusik educator and is currently teaching at Parkside Preschool and Mill Valley Community Center.  In her age-appropriate classes, Andrea not only sings and dances with the children, she also explores with them various instruments and movement props.  Her music is also culturally diverse, and composed of different languages.
