Kristin has two young sons, one a Redeemer graduate now entering 1st Grade and the other a member of the “3” class. A four year resident of Glenwood, she grew up in the North Bay and has been active with a variety of nonprofit organizations, including serving on the boards of Marin Advocates for Children and the Southern Marin Mothers’ Club. Prior to becoming a full-time mom, Kristin was the National Director of Client Service at Grant Thornton, LLP. Her specialties include strategy development, change management, communications, marketing and metrics. After nine years, she left her role to mostly focus on motherhood, occasionally consulting to the professional services industry. Kristin is the Co-Chair of Redeemer’s annual auction fundraiser. When not chasing her two boys, you can find her coaching Little League, running trails, or trying to sneak in a nap on a park bench. Kristin holds a BA in English from U.C. Berkeley.
Nicole McAuliffe is a stay at home mom to Redeemer preschooler Michael age two and older his sisters, Caroline and Julia. Nicole is a former middle school teacher and K-8 principal. She received her MA in Educational Leadership from UC Berkeley. Most recently, Nicole served as Director of Advancement for Mission Dolores Academy. Nicole has previously served on the Boards of the Corte Madera-Larkspur Mother’s Club(CMLMC), Mission Dolores Academy, and SPARK, the Larkspur-Corte Madera School Foundation, where she was the annual giving co-chair. Nicole and her husband Colin are East Coast natives who enjoy exploring the Bay Area with their three children and dog Sesame Ball.
Julia has been working with children for 15 years in various capacities. She holds a Nonprofit Administration degree from the University of San Francisco. She also has a Director’s Permit from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. She has been in administration for the last four years, with 8 years of prior classroom experience. Her passions in the field of education include: children’s literature, social and emotional learning, and working with families individually to meet the changing needs of families.She enjoys cooking, traveling (she has been to every state in the US, except one), and spending time outdoors, hiking and exploring the beauty around us.
Kasey is the Senior Director of Finance for the Oakland Athletics. She has been with the A’s for 10 years and has been a fan since she can remember. She is responsible for compiling, preparing, and monitoring the operating budget for the organization as well as overseeing the day to day accounting. She is also responsible for overseeing the accounting and tax filings for the A’s 501(c)3 organization. She manages both the A’s annual financial audit as well as the MLB Revenue Sharing audit. Prior to her time with the A’s, Kasey worked in the Audit and Assurance practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers for 3 years and received her CPA License. Kasey has two children enrolled at Redeemer, one in the 2’s and the other in Pre-K.
A long-time member of the Redeemer family, Mike brings a hyper-local passion to the Board of Directors and is determined to play an active role in the education & development of his children. Daughter Mia is currently enrolled and son Will is on track to join the class of 2021. Oldest daughter Alix graduated with the Redeemer Class 2003. Partnering with Paragon Real Estate Group’s Marin office in October 2015, Mike brings his clients the highest level of service available in the industry, pulling from the strength of the company’s recognized brand and support systems, its local focus, and global reach! After building a career as an international I.T. executive, serving more than 12 years as COO and Director for A.T. Works America, Inc., Mike leverages technology in his approach with modern buyers and sellers. Mike earned a B.A. in Social Science from University of California, Berkeley, where he was a letterman on the Cal Men’s Rowing Team, an All-Pac-10 honoree, and U.S. Rowing Association National Champion. He lives with his wife Mamiko and young children in Glenwood, where he’s been a homeowner for almost on 20 years.

Katy and her family just recently moved to Glenwood from the Boston-area. She and her husband are very excited that both their children will be attending Redeemer Preschool in the fall. Katy has a broad background and skill set including events, fundraising and communications. She currently owns a successful yoga studio back east managing yoga teacher trainings, marketing, budget, finance and staff of about 20 people.
Katy has always been interested in young children and has been teaching yoga and mindfulness in preschool classes for almost a decade. Three, four and five year old’s are “her people.” She tries to see and get to know each child. She hopes to bring yoga to Redeemer this fall.
When not playing with her kids and exploring this new beautiful part of the country, you will find Katy trying to fit in a yoga practice.
Jim de Carion

Jim teaches seventh and eighth grade English at the Town School for Boys, a K-8 day school in San Francisco where he leads the 8th grade advisory program, mentors new faculty, and serves on numerous hiring committees. Over the course of his ten years there, Jim spearheaded Town’s first anti-bias day which addressed gender inequity in the workplace and pioneered the TAMLIN Program, a co-educational exchange between the Town and Hamlin schools. Jim is a nationally certified trainer for the principles of Balanced and Restorative Justice and prior to teaching, coordinated the Juvenile Diversion Program in Jackson, Wyoming. Jim and his wife Beth are thrilled to be a part of the Redeemer community. They live in Glenwood where they frequent the China Camp single track and try to get their two sons Bruno (PreK – B) and Harvey (3’s) to and from Redeemer on time.
Marisol Lugo Cappiello

The Cappiello Family joined Redeemer Preschool in 2015. Their eldest Carolina is in the Pre-K B classroom and youngest Matthew is in the 2’s classroom. Marisol has worked in education since 2007 as a teacher in both special and general education. Most recently as a Kindergarten teacher in the Sunnyvale School District. A Southern California native Marisol moved to San Francisco after graduating from the University of San Diego with a degree in International Relations and Business. After working in tech sales Marisol found her passion lied in training and teaching new hires and decided to pursue her degree in education from Santa Clara University. In addition to her teaching responsibilities Marisol mentored student teachers from various universities in the Bay Area, planned and presented parent education seminars, managed data across the grade level, and translated community meetings, parent conferences, and newsletters school wide.
Since moving to Marin Marisol is now a full time mom to Carolina and Matthew. She enjoys cooking, traveling, and exploring Marin with her husband John and two kiddos.

Over the years, Kristin has worn many hats–from teaching music in after-school programs, to studying Art Direction at the Miami Ad School. She’s always loved being creative. She’s worked as an art director at a number of ad agencies in London, Amsterdam and San Francisco. Kristin now runs her own brand consultancy with a focus on retail and lifestyle brands. If she’s not in front of the computer working on the design of her latest project, you can find her trail running, enjoying a yoga class or spending time with her husband and son.

The Madrigal family is very excited to be joining the Redeemer community in August 2017! Anagha’s daughter is 2 years old and is ready to make some new friends and learn & explore the world around her. Anagha’s professional background includes working in the Financial Services industry for over 14 years for companies such as UBS Financial and J.P. Morgan. Anagha seized the opportunity to partner with her father’s financial advisory practice at LPL Financial where she currently helps families plan and invest for college, retirement, or any other special wealth management needs. Anagha grew up in Tennessee where she earned a B.A. in Economics from Vanderbilt University. She later earned an Executive M.B.A. from Pepperdine University. Anagha values her family time, being outdoors and enjoying Napa where her husband, Carlos, grew up and has a family wine business.
Carol Ann Falk
Carol Ann Falk has been a church member since returning to Marin from Mendocino in 2014. She and her husband, Roy raised their son in Mill Valley. Then Roy’s work took them to the East Bay. She has lived in Portugal, Belgium and Italy.
Carol Ann graduated from San Francisco State University and received her Standard Life time Credential with a specialization in elementary teaching the following year. She taught a variety of grades Kindergarten through sixth grade, over a period of twenty-six years. Teaching was a gratifying and rewarding career.
Her life has been an active one, many sports especially cycling and sailing have been passions. Messing about in boats, owning boats and eventually racing sailboats has kept her busy. Racing a boat from Long Beach to Oahu with a crew of seven menwas a highlight of her sailing life. She has cycled thousands of hours on her bike. She rode her bike to Yosemite and participated in the San Francisco Aids benefit ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles, raising over $3500.
At different times in her life, Carol Ann has enjoyed being a member of the American University Woman, the Commonwealth Club, and the League of Women voters. In 2005 she served as President of the League of Women voters in Mendocino County. While living in Mendocino she was a founding member of a group formed to discover the needs of the homeless and provide for them.
Currently, in addition to serving on the Redeemer Preschool board, Carol Ann enjoys participating in her book club and walking her dog Katy. Going to the YMCA with her adult son three times a week is a pleasure. Carol Ann likes to give back to the community, currently volunteering at St. Anthony’s dining room. She is learning to play the piano and loves to travel.
Kelly is a long time member of the Church of Redeemer since 2000 (15 years). She has served a number of times as the Senior and Junior Warden of the church vestry and enjoys serving the Redeemer community by organizing, maintaining, and coordinating the servicing of the buildings and grounds of the campus. She has lived in Glenwood/Peacock Gap area since 1991, has two college age students who started their education at Redeemer Pre-School and went through the San Rafael public school system. Kelly is a Registered Investment Advisor with Watermark Asset Management and is looking forward to supporting the Pre-School community.
