Welcome to Redeemer Preschool !

Redeemer Preschool is a non-profit, non-sectarian preschool and enrichment program that was founded by the Church of the Redeemer, a member of the California Episcopal Diocese. Located in the neighborhood of Glenwood, San Rafael, the preschool provides quality early education in an inspiring and nurturing environment for children from two to six years of age.

Our curriculum encompasses key areas of development including children’s well being and physical development, social and emotional development, cognitive development, language and recognition.  It also incorporates subject matter such as literacy, mathematics, science and nature, music, movement, creative arts and general knowledge.  We use a balanced approach, acknowledging that children learn from both child-initiated and adult-guided experiences.  Our teachers are always thinking about what they are doing and how it will foster children’s development and produce meaningful and lasting learning.

In March 2010, Redeemer Preschool was accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).  This is our commitment to providing high-quality services for our children and families.  We have fully met the 10 NAEYC Standards which are based on the latest research on the education and development of young children.  For additional information, please visit the NAEYC website at www.naeyc.org
